We went for brunch. It's a very small place. Interesting menu with some tasty sounding options but almost nothing for gluten-free patrons. So I went for the miso-corn soup. It sounded odd but was surprisingly delightful. The service was very good.
If I could give it a 4.5, I would. I can't quite give it a 5, which I'll get to. First off, great staff, nice ambiance, good music. That's important. The second thing I noticed was a great wine list. Always a good sign. That alone should get a lot of butts in seats. Respect to whomever curated it. Third thing, the Caesar salad I had was one of the best salads I've had in a restaurant in a long while. My problem was with the cacio e pepe. It sounded great reading...
Entire menu was great making it hard to choose what to order. There was a variety of specials and delicious options and long with great wine pairing options. Very cozy spot and one of the best in Girdwood.
