This is a great place for ice cream, but I was a bit turned off by the prices which seemed high. They also have to make an effort to stop people from using the bathroom and not buying anything, which is unfortunate. I don’t know how they can do that any more politely, but it adds a weird vibe. That said, the ice cream is good and the young staff is nice.

The ice cream is worth the hype. Gets super crowded though, which can dampen the experience. Recommend the Alaska wild berry!
This is the best icecream shop on the peninsula! The wife and I came here 4 years ago and again today. I had the sour swirl. She had Maui Waui and Bubblegum. Top-notch!
Wildberry flavor was excellent. Good vegan selections too.
This place hasn't changed in 20 years, thank goodness! No matter how long it's been, I can always count on them having Fireweed Honey ice cream on hand :)
visiting Alaska and was told to come here to try the Fireweed ice cream. it is delicious!

The ice cream was decent. Not worth the price. On top of that. Sum of the staff was rude. Not welcoming or friendly at all. I was so nice. I wasn't rude or mean. That's not my personality at all. So their no issue their. But for being a ice cream shop. Their attitude was not upbeat at all. Will not be back.Would be 1 star. But the gentlemen hook it up on my bannah split bec he saw how upset I was about being treated like that.

Friend recommended this place and the fireweed + honey and banana cream pie or anything with berries were our favorites. Definitely on the pricey end though

Stopped on the way to Seward. Refreshing and nice variety, including local flavors. I had the Alaskan wild berry, which was quite delicious.
