A great place to stop off and grab lunch or to go drink. The place smells absolutely heavenly when you walk in. Stop in when I left Seward on my way back to Anchorage, AK. They have beautiful views of the water. Wish I had more time to sample all the things on the menu. Right off the main highway
Stopped here after a day of fishing... Have eaten at the one in Anchorage (closed) but this is the original. The staff is super friendly and funny... There was only three people running the place and they hustled to make it a great experience. I like their barbeque because it is a dry rub.. this time I tried something new... Fresh deep fried pork rinds! If you like chicaronies, try these.. they come out of the fryer fresh and hot, still popping and crackling! So much fun to eat....
Delicious BBQ conveniently located south of Anchorage on the way to/from Girdwood with a hilariously appropriate name (for the location). Enjoyed lunch before heading home after a great week in Alaska with family. Wasn't looking for great BBQ in Alaska since we have plenty of choices at home, but was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. Good smokiness in the meats and delicious sauces as well.
