This market has a good selection of sandwiches and other foods or drinks to take out for lunch or to have on a picnic. Prices were reasonable.

I love going there ,when I visit my granddaughters in Haines. We buy snacks food. And sandwiches before going to State park. It's a great place. See you in August 2023. Thanks Tracey

Was happy that this market was open on Sunday when the rest of the town is closed up. Cafe has selection of snacks and drinks, although doesn't do espresso on Sundays.

Seriously Awful food. Coffee was under roasted, Quality has really plummeted at this place. If their food is an economic indicator, the USA is in trouble. It used to be good 5 or 6 years ago. It’s the worst place to eat in Haines now. Sandwiches are 99% bread and lettuce. It’s hard to even find meat on them, even on “grinders” and Italian sandwiches. Look at the sandwich picture I posted. One tiny tiny piece of roast beef, one piece of cheese. 12 dollars. Ridiculous. Last time we came down from WH we all got Turkey wraps and there was maybe one piece of deli sliced Turkey per wrap. This place has really sunk. They seem to always be breaking in a new coffee roaster as the inconsistency is constant. Avoid this place unless you like being repeatedly disappointed.

First stop after checking in to the Halsingland Hotel. They had a full market, liquor store and deli counter. The pre-made sandwiches and wraps were delicious. We had the Turkey Bacon Wraps which were great. It was a well stocked store and even had gluten free and vegan options in the sandwich case. It’s walking distance to some trails and bike paths, the hotel and downtown.

We stopped in here twice on our recent visit to Haines. They have great sandwiches to go, a few pre-made meals and a decent wine selection. The employees were very nice and the signs outside enforcing masks inside were very reassuring.

Best wine selection in town & best price on most all liquor. Very nice & knowledgeable staff. Also like the health food store on other side, good frozen food section, fresh produce not the best & not keen on the fresh made sandwiches as few veggies added.
