The rum is delicious

Vodka is excellent, gin great flavors but is bit rough needs a little dealy for flavors, they hit you all at once inst3ad of over time, rum a bit rough but I am a dark rum rum drinker, bourbon is excellent for a young distillary. Absinthe is excellent for a young distillery. Diffinatlety STOP HERE!!!!!!!!!! Unfortunately, bottle prices are double what you would expect for a young distillery.

Visited today while in town on cruise ship. Lovely building with lots of comfortable seating. We had a couple of fabulously tasty, reasonably priced cocktails, and purchased a bottle of gin to take home to Canada. Very near cruise port so a handy place to visit. All staff were very friendly. Amazing distillery using local ingredients in its creations. Shout out to Mads who gave us an amazing breakdown of each spirit as we went thru the Flagship Flight. Definitely make sure you stop in here any time you’re in Haines!
We had such a fantastic experience at the Distillery! Mads was our bartender and as soon as we walked in we felt like fast friends. She was very knowledgeable and personable. We tried a taste of the gin, bourbon and absinthe. On her suggestion (when I asked what her fav drink was..) we both had the Siren Swizzle. WOW, what a tasty drink! We stayed the night in Haines (after dinner at Fireweed, next door, also recommend !!) and went back the next day for two more drinks and left with a full bottle of Absinthe to take back home with us to Iowa. :) If you are in Haines, don't miss Port Chilkoot! Thank you Mads!!

My husband and I visited Port Chilkoot Distillery when our cruise stopped in Haines for the evening just over a week ago. This is such a cool place with a lot of heart and very tasty drinks. Luckily, we were in time to do the tour, which was delightful.They have such a cool set up and seeing the equipment and materials first hand really put into perspective the love and care that goes into some pretty great small batch spirits. I'm so happy we went on the tour and even happier with the bottles we bought to take home.We loved the cocktails and everything else we tried. The 50 Fathoms gin botanicals with the spruce tips is amazing. I think I could almost drink it straight.
