AJs never disappoints. We go almost once a year as we live an hour and a half away but everytime we go the food is nothing less than amazing. The service is also amazing and we have never had a complaint.

AJs is consistently amazing. From their staff to their delicious entrees - they are a family favorite. The reservation process is simple and highly recommended. I love supporting local businesses that remain open during the 'off' season.Parking: Parking is available in the front as well as a parking lot. Free street parking is also nearby.Kid-friendliness: High chairs and boosters are available.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramps and wide paths to the tables make it wheelchair accessible.

While we have enjoyed the majority of the experiences at the restaurant, the cooking is average. It has been consistent to order a rare to get a medium rare filet. Fish has been burned on the outside. Calamari should be tender and smooth, not overcooked and turned to rubber. If this is to be an upscale restaurant they need to get someone that knows how to cook. I understand it's Homer, but at these prices, you better get the cook right. The staff have always been pleasant and the restaurant has a good atmosphere.

Great steak. It could have been a little warmer. Potatoes were good. Service was good. It was cold inside, though.

The food was wonderful and the service was lovely- as usual. This is one of our staples when we visit Homer- we always come here. We made our reservation early because we know the prime rib can sell out. The only item of note that was not optimal was that it took us over 45 minutes once we ordered to get our prime rib- and the restaurant was not at capacity- but it was busy. This did not bother us at all- but it may be an issue for some. The prime rib is worth it for sure.

Wonderful evening! Excellent selection of scotches, which we enjoyed learning about and personally rating for our future purchases. The food was excellent and beautifully prepared, and the service was fantastic - could not have been better.

This was a scotch tasting event, while the scotch was good the food was very subpar. The salad was good, which had me hopeful, but then the bacon wrapped scallop was brought out and it was rubbery, not seared on one side and the bacon was limp and undercooked. The steak and potatoes were cold and bland, though the desserts were fine the brown butter pecan pie was dry and used store bought crust. The wait staff tried but you could tell there wasn't a ton of direction to anything, the time between courses was about 20+ minutes.
Always a nice experience. It is a staple for my wife and I.

The food was good but the service was horrible. There were 4 waitresses walking by our table multiple times and we were never waited on until we called a waitress over. There were multiple times we had to grab the waitress attention.

We had a absolutely lovely dinner at AJ's. Our food was delicious and our server attentive, even with the restaurant full and busy. So glad we chose to drive to Homer for a memorable and special dinner.
I had an amazing dining experience- we showed up 10min early for our reservation, and we were promptly greeted and seated - this place was an amazing dining experience with quality Chefs that create exquisite dining experiences - they always freshest ingredients - crème brûlée desert with a hint of root beer was a culinary delight - did I mention the steaks were amazing and perfectly cooked ??
