“It's hard tro even describe how much this place has changed in the last few years, for the better. This was a dive bar. Like, really a dive. Then it changed hands and was a dive bar that also had some decent sushi. Changed hands again and after a few years ... it's not a dive at all. The bar is still there but it is no longer the point, the food is. And the food is great. The owners really care about their customers and their staff, and the food they put out. Get the tacos. Get the poboy. Get the wings. It's all good. Have some local beers.”

“Love the food, great menu selection, friendly service, outdoor seating in the sunshine (when it’s sunny) and there is Spirit, a super friendly husky, that sits outside. I go half for the food and half for the dog!”

“Cosy, casual, friendly place with great food! Today we had the cod sandwiches (panko crusted ling cod) with fries and a side of charred brussels sprouts. Everything was prepared to perfection. We’ve also had great burgers and tacos here.”

“Amazing food, this place is probably my favorite restaurant in Homer. The yellow curry is a personal favorite, but any of the noodle dishes are quite good as well.The crab ragoon is heavenly, and the iced thai tea is my favorite drink in Homer.I cannot stress how much joy Vita's food gives me.My main issue is that the food can be expensive, but I think it's worth it. I tend to eat here when it's a special occasion only.10/10, thank you so much for this wonderful restaurant.”

“First place I have eaten at that the food was truly worth the price. The hidden gem here is there gluten-free options the box of food my wife received will feed her for 3 days(hopefully they don't change it after reading this). I definitely recommend ordering one of their wraps as gluten free.”

“Ashley was the most incredible caterer for our wedding in Homer! She put in so much work and made the day absolutely perfect! People are still talking about the amazing charcuterie board, dinner, ice cream bar, and popcorn bar we had at our wedding! She executed everything perfectly and went above and beyond! “This is the best food In Homer. Just a short distance east from the Spit, it brings quality Alaskan/ Asian cuisine. The bar makes quality cocktails and the service is professional and friendly. We went there twice, both times excellent. The Cajun seafood pasta was loaded with shrimp, clams and mussels. The ribs with mac and cheese were terrific. Went home with leftovers .Very recommended!”

“We ordered for pick up twice this last weekend. Had 2 different ladies help me. Both were Outstanding!!! From calling in the order to picking it up. Friendly and made me feel truly welcome!Now for the food!!! Fir lunch we had the cowboy burgers!!! YUMMY!!!Then we treated ourselves to steak dinner!! OMG!! I can't say enough on how delicious our steak was!!! Our sides were mash potatoes and asparagus! This is the only the 2nd time that I have ever said I liked a restaurants veggies- so good! The mash potatoes- I don't know what they did but the very best!!It's spendy but worth every penny!!”

“We’ve had so many meals from your amazing kitchen! Every meal we’ve had has been delicious! Great service, relaxing ambience and amazing food! From coffees to sweets to sandwiches to meals! Take a trip out East End Road for great food! It’s worth it! Your Soups and casseroles are the best I’ve ever had!! Flavorful, fresh ingredients and good for our soul! For those reading this....our hearts have been broken by the loss of 2 dogs and a flood ruining our guest area. Sheryl and Anna graciously accepted the request from our friends to keep us fed while we grieve and heal. Our souls and hearts hurt but our tummies are warm and cared for! Thank you Red Bird for your amazing food and friendship!”
