The staff were very nice, the bar was good, and we enjoyed the drinks. We also thought the chowder was excellent.
The Halibut Iliamna was clearly very fresh, which we expected in the halibut capital of Alaska, but unfortunately it was on the dry side and seemed overcooked. We also weren’t fans of the brown rice pilaf. It was a very large portion of fairly plain rice, and once the fish was gone, it felt more filling than satisfying as a side dish. Best dining experience in Alaska. Harrison and Kayla went above and beyond to make our dinner reservation a once in a lifetime experience. The food was quality, the effort and quality of customer service should be the bar set for every restaurant. Thank you for an amazing dinner.
I recommend the halibut, clam chowder, homer local beer and IPA beer.
