Absolutely amazing food! The owner always uses the freshest ingredients, often locally sourced. The food is fresh, affordable, and filling without being heavy. I have never had a bad experience or bad food from the Dandelion. My only complaint is that I can't grab a burrito or tacos during the winter.
Great stop today. Fast service right after they opened. They made a special kids quesadilla for us that my kids loved. I loved the taco bowl without the beans. Sauce was yummy. They put out a bubble machine for the kids to enjoy.
I lived in Homer for three years. From the time she opened in the spring until she closed in the winter, I ate at Dandelion at least three times a week. My favorite is the Lion Burrito with Pineapple Habinero (hot) salsa and Triple Garlic sour cream. Sometimes I mixed it up with the Chechaco (normal) Tacos--order two--or the Rice and Bean Bowl. If sirloin tacos or Pork Carnitas were available, I tried to be first in line.The Chipotle Sour Cream is her own concoction, it goes on...
