Nice young man met us at the dock when we returned from our halibut fishing trip with Maverick Charters. They vacuum sealed the filets and froze them. We picked up our fish in an insulated box that they provided and were off to the airport in Anchorage. The fish was frozen solid when we got home 15 hours later. Good price and great service.

The whole process was very easy! They picked up our catch at the boat, took our information and gave us a card with a scan bar. We stopped in and paid for the processing and shipping. The office door is around the back of the building. Update: Our fish arrived on time and still frozen! I highly recommend this business. We will definitely use their services again!

Homer Fish Processing did a great job with our 71lbs of fish. It was cut and packaged very well. However we received 2 boxes shipped, and one had ice packs and one did not. The one without ice packs the top layer about 6-7 packs were no longer frozen. I called and asked if this was normal to ship without ice packs, and I was told if ice packs do not fit, then they are not put in. I was also told if the fish was still cold then its ok to refreeze. I guess we will finf out, because I could not eat 6-7lbs of fish upon delivery.

Sent 70+ lbs of fish home to Minnesota. Was ready to pick up the next day. Fish was packed perfect and still frozen after 28 hrs. Checking it as additional bags on our return flight was the way to go.

Got my fish flash frozen fast... only had 4 hours to get it frozen for trip home. The mistake they made was telling me it would last 30 hours in the cooler while I flew home. Luckily I didn't take 30 hours as after 18 the edges of the fish packs had started to soften. The were still safe enough to refreeze. The time length may have been accurate if was had 8-12 hours in a deep freeze but we only had 4. Still, they were professional and prompt and picked up our fish from the dock off the Irish. Recommend them highly
