The Otter Room is open when many of the other restaurants are closed for the season. The night run on the ferry to Kodiak Island does not have kitchen service. It was Taco Tuesday and those were delicious but with one order each of three tacos for the two of us it left just enough room to split the Otter Burger & fries. With a side order of totts. Cozy bar and fireplace on the left, diner seating on the right side. Friendly service at the bar side where we were able to watch some football and hockey highlights. Definitely on our list of places to stop especially on the winter months. Fill up on gas nearby, you will save over a dollar per gallon over Kodiak prices.

The food was delicious and hot, however the service and server Michelle was terrible. The restaurant wasn’t busy and she almost lost our credit card after she took the bill. People were ordering food from the bar and everything was coming out quicker and the bartender was paying attention to her customers.

Rochelle was an amazing server. Kind, patient, engaged. The burgers were good. The tater tot’s were EXCELLENT- ask for them cooked well! Fun place to watch football.

Keriana was a fantastic server. We had drinks, apps, and dinner while we played some cards. She was so friendly and attentive, even when it got busier. Typical bar food and very good. Rockfish special was delicious. Thank you, Otter Room.
