COUNT YOUR CHANGE! Handed the girl a 20, got change for a 10, and it was obvious by her response when I pointed it out that she was well aware of it.
Think about that: swiping an extra 10 dollars on every mocha sold would put hundreds of unearned, untaxed, stolen dollars a day in her pockets.
I have no clue why we still gave her a tip! Next time, I'm intentionally paying with a 20 and counting my change carefully... and if this happens again we're going to have an indepth conversation. Homer is a great place full of friendly, trusting people... taking advantage of that trust is a ROTTEN thing to do!

Go to any other coffee shop in Homer. 9 out of 10 times they get my drink wrong.
Paying $7 for a 16oz lotus just for it to taste like syrup and the order to be wrong entirely. Not worth it anymore.

😠burnt shot in my Americano, very not stoked.
After waiting nearly 10 minutes for the truck in front of us to get his order of three drinks, we ordered a 20oz iced nonfat raspberry white mocha, and a 16oz hot nonfat raspberry white mocha. The barista looked at me like I spoke a foreign language, then said they were out of nonfat milk and only had whole milk (based on the jug she was holding, she meant 2%). I said that was fine and I paid what would’ve been the total for the 20 ounce and the 16 ounce. We then received a 16 ounce iced choc mocha and a 16 ounce hot choc mocha. Regular chocolate, not white chocolate, and no raspberry flavoring in either. And there were weird sugar crystals in the bottom of the iced one. After she handed them to us out the window, I sat there waiting for her to come back because I was going to ask what the drinks were, but no one ever came out to the window so we just left.

There was a lovely gal with cool hair working, she was patient while I was indecisive. Ended up getting a half Alaskan Chai and half Zen Chai and it was delicious. I'll be back because the Chai was good and the vibes were great.

Like others, I’ve had consistent bad coffee’s from here. Lukewarm drinks, sour black coffee, burned shots. The baristas are kind. A suggestion I’d have as a consumer would be to educate the baristas more on coffee, what makes a good coffee, what makes a bad coffee, how to pull proper shots.
I’ve given this shop many chances due to the great location but not spending money here any more. And not to mention, prices are astronomical here compared to others. I really wanted to love this shop, but it isn’t for me.
Those ham and cheese croissants though…deliiiightful. Best item I’ve had there.

When we visit Homer, this is our favorite spot! I wish my coffee cart at home made Iced Butterscotch Lattes as good!
It’s a drive-through coffee shop, like so many others in Alaska, so not much to say except they made a good dirty chai latte and were friendly. I’d stop by again.
