Went because I've been wanting red beans and rice, but it's not on their regular menu. Instead, I saw they had it as a special, so we went. At first, our server was very nice and helpful, but always was trying to upsell us on everything. Overkill - except for refilling our water glass, which never happened. Great experience. They host live music 2 nights a week, and host various local events. Service was attentive; the owner made themselves available and we felt welcomed. Food was cooked perfectly; photos attached
We both had prime rib and shared the bread pudding. Both were excellent! The prime rib was fork tender and the bread pudding with whiskey sauce was New Orleans good! Great personable service with a fabulous view.
