Two Sisters Bakery is great as far as their culture goes. The business accepts you as you are and doesn’t want you to be anything other than you are. Unfortunately, the coffee and chocolate chip cookies that I ordered were not as impressive. They only offer drip coffee, and it’s not that good. The cookies were cake-like and not my favorite. I like their style, I just don’t like their cookies or coffee.

Two Sisters is proof that good things are worth waiting (and parking) for. They keep to those wonderfully quirky Alaskan hours, but when the doors finally open, the trays of fresh goodness make it all worthwhile. From classic Danishes to perfect cinnamon buns that are truly sin-sational, every bite tastes homemade and heartfelt. Their artisan breads and breakfast options are clearly the town favorites and for good reason.
The décor leans into personality and character, giving the place its own cozy charm. Service was quick and kind, keeping the line moving even at peak hours. With how fast they sell out, you’ll want to rise early (or at least earlier than they do!) to snag your favorites.
This little bakery may test your parking skills, but once you’ve got a cinnamon bun in hand, you can take a leisurely walk on the beach or hiking trails just down the road.

This bakery is fantastic. Both the sweet and savory baked goods are phenomenal! Service is great! We stopped here for a quick breakfast before driving back to Anchorage and everything thing was just perfect.

A favorite. Must try all of the pastries, have not had a bad one yet. Best cinnamon rolls ever. Take a roll and stroll the beach.

Been a while since we visited Dos Hermanas but gave it a try again for nostalgia's sake. Sad to say the convivial ambience we remember was no longer in attendance. Instead it's a line them up, get their order, and get them out the door establishment. Gone is the friendly Café style coffee shop bakery we remember. The staff we encountered were friendly enough with warm smiles, but the atmosphere overall was far colder than their smiles would suggest. Sadder still the coffee we were given was tasteless and watery. No excuse for that when there's so many good coffee varieties readily available, even here in Homer. We'll cherish the memories of our first visits and expunge those of our recent one. Doubt we will be back… The warmth and hospitality we remember has been deprecated in the name of efficiency, and the Sisters have turned the café into a production line. But efficiency is not hospitality, and the latter was sorely lacking on this rainy Wednesday. Yes, the pastries were well done, but the bums rush atmosphere made them impossible to enjoy on site.

This is a bit off the path bakery that serves up some great coffee and breakfast items (come early as things run out sometimes). The line was out the door when we got there. The staff was nice and the food was good (not outstanding) and it seemed to have a bit of a liberal vibe vs a neutral one. VictorB

Stopped by Two Sisters Bakery and tried the kimchi pork bun and focaccia sandwich—both were absolutely delicious! Fresh, flavorful, and really satisfying. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Can’t wait to come back ❤️
