Update 10-6-2023:They are closed for good "pursuing other endevours"?Don't let the exterior appearance fool you. The inside is clean, spacious and nicely decorated. Service is awesome. Food was delish. The rolls are big, I could not finish my tempura shrimp crunch roll. My wife orderd a Korean bulgog bowl - it was really good. The lemon water is a nice touch. The seasoned soy sauce is so good that I was tempted to eat it like soup.

I was craving Fried Rice of some variety, when we came to Young's. I'm pretty boring about what i get in Chinese Restaurants (always Chow Mein or Fried Rice) and initially, we were going to go to the Chinese Restaurant that's on the spit, i can't remember it's name, but it's yellow, and upstairs, and has a smiley face painted above it's sign. It was closed though (and has been for the last 5 years apparently) and I hadn't realised it was THAT long since we'd been to Homer, to try for Kings in the Fishing Hole. I looked on Yelp for alternative Chinese Food, and could only find Young's. It wasn't very busy when we got there, although maybe because we were eating a little later than we normally would, so this was one hour before they closed. Our server caught sight of my jade rings, and we immediately got into a conversation about me being a fan of K Drama, particularly the historical ones based around the Joseon era, where the Royal ladies of the court wore jade rings and bangles. So anyway, i showed her my jade bangle too, and she told me her name was Jade. She took our order - chicken fried rice for me, and Bibimbap for him - and a short time later the food was served, this time by a young man, who asked me about my love for K Drama. I told him about previous shows I'd watched (in particular i love the ones where food is prepared or eaten) and my current favourite which is not actually Korean, it's Chinese, (Royal Feast) so i guessed the lady had mentioned me when she gave the chef our order. I liked the interaction, it was a nice touch, and made it seem they were interested in me and my opinion. The restaurant had some nice touches. The chairs - black padded, with quilting, and the studs of the quilting were rhinestones (love that) and i also liked the stainless steel water "glasses" Husband's spoon that came with his Bibimbap, was one of those that you see on these Asian dramas, with an extra long handle. Much nicer than a regular spoon in my opinion. The service was second to none and i couldn't ask for better. To have someone engage with me, and chat animatedly about some of my favourite Netflix shows really elevated this dining experience. And the food - my Chicken Fried Rice was delicious, liberally studded with tasty thigh meat, and visible pieces of egg. Super tasty, and a large portion too, i had to get a takeout box. Neither of us had tried Bibimbap so this was interesting, and very flavoursome, a stylized bowl, with Bulgogi beef, vegetables, mushrooms, and rice on the bottom. Interesting to note that they featured Asian Fusion, and had Japanese, Korean as well as Chinese cuisine - such is often the case nowadays, and I'm not mad about it, i must say. Definitely a win for me and I will go back next time I'm in Homer.

Don't trust the online menus, I acknowledge my fault for not asking the price when I picked up my order, but I read the menu expected to spend 13 and was charged 27$

After a long hiatus went back due to the rave reviews. Amazing people putting out amazing food. Sushi was top notch, the onion crepe was just WOW and if you don't try the Korean style Tacos... you are missing out on the true hidden gem of this establishment. I will be going back again.

The food was ok, but their little kid running around from table to table coughing was horrible. He rab a party of 3 off before they ordered. It was much better a few years ago. We were the only ones there at 5 pm on Friday... we should have ran

This is a very special restaurant- unique, delicious, kind-hearted. Please do not let the 4 stars scare you off. This place is lovely and absolutely a treat of its own. Our son & mother had a birthday and they were very kind and gave them unique fans with a very beautiful meaning. Please check this place out. P.s. BEST SUSHI IN THE AREA!

Outstanding!Youngs is a long time restaurant in Homer and had gone through several changes over the 30+ years i have lived here. Its current incarnation is truly amazing. Great menu and over the top friendly service. The rolls were the some of the best I have had anywhere. I'll be back and will bring friends and family.Thank you Youngs!

Unbelievable transformation of this restaurant. Nicholas is an awesome chef and makes the baddest tacos that shouldn't even be called tacos. Unbelievable fusion and high quality. Not at all what I had expected. Great work guys!
