I cannot recommend Ale's enough. My wife and I were visiting from Fairbanks for her birthday. I've gotten her a Chantilly cake for her birthday every year for the last 10 years. I walked into Ale's at 11:00AM and described the cake that we usually buy with my caveman vocabulary for baked goods - "White", "Fluffy", "Berries", "Icing". Stacy somehow read my mind and delivered - by 4:00PM THE SAME DAY - one of the best cakes we've ever had. My wife absolutely loved it. Ale's helped make this one of the best birthdays ever.

Stopped in here at the 11th hour to get my wife a birthday cake. Normally my wife makes the birthday cakes for our family and she sets a pretty high bar. Ale's knocked it out of the park though, With very little input from me. Probably the best and most tasteful and tasty cake I've seen or had. If you need pastry's or bakery items in Juneau then this is the place to go.
I appreciate that when my partner called in this cake last min, that they accepted the order. The design I could barley read or make it out. They put “25?” Instead of “25!” I’m truly sad about this cake. The cake wasn’t very light, it was more of a pound cake texture. Sadly won’t be ordering again.

it's a amazing bakery but I was disappointed with my order for my 21st I was soposto have special frosting inside my cake and instead just got the same stuff from the outside. it was delicious but not what I asked for and just sucked. but besides that I've never had any issues and they have amazing food and op

It was amazing and the cake I got was amazing for what it was I am vary disappointed that I did not have the German chocolate frosting in the middle just the white chocolate that was for the outside. And since it was for my 21st it was really disappointing but overall the cake was good just wouldn't spend 100 bucks again for not getting the one major thing I wanted from it.
