Pretty good ice cream spot. Slow on service if it's busy. Hours are unpredictable. Wish you could still go in the store. Somewhat limited/regular flavors. Staff is friendly, and the location is great. I appreciate that they will do smaller portions if you ask.

Chilkat Cove for life!! The owner made us all feel at home even in the middle of the pandemic world we live in now. Awesome flavor selection, served anyway you could want (cones,floats, cups and shakes... He even has gift certificates. Take the whole family! He was extremely patient with Grandma while she decided among the many many choices. I could go on because there is the best customer service I've ever been given. Go eat your dessert here the next chance you get and you won't be disappointed.

Chilkat cove is the best ice cream shop in Juneau! Last weekend I got ice cream and noticed there was a mistake with payment, I messaged them and they responded so fast. They offered to give me a full refund, ice cream on the house and “golden tickets” for free ice cream on my next visit. The manager was so considerate, professional and just over all an absolute pleasure to communicate with. They really care about the community and their customers. Not to mention the ice cream is too delicious to even be real! I don’t know how they do it. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would in a heartbeat. Will 100% be going back many times! Thank you Chilkat.
