Deckhand Dave's Fish Tacos

My husband and I were visiting Juneau while on an Alaskan Cruise. We asked a local about food in the area and Deckhand Dave's was recommended. The food was great! There is a great sitting area with fires to sit around. It is a little out of the way from the tourist area but so worth it!!

Having the name David, I had to check out Deckhand Dave’s on our trip to Alaska. Very fun & relaxed food truck area. The Rockfish tacos were great. If I lived in Juneau I would be here all the time.

Food was fantastic! We had tacos. The water was light and tasty and the fish was fresh and yummy. The young man that took our order was friendly & had great recommendations. Nice outdoor seating area with great music playing.

The best fish tacos! I got the sampler platter and halibut fish cake. So delicious with the slaw and sauce. Will definitely go back for more next time I'm in Juneau.

Delicious and affordable — exactly what you want in a quick taco stop. The fish was crispy, the crema had great flavor (not very spicy for ordering the spicy version, but still tasty), and service was fast and friendly. A great casual bite in Juneau.

GET THE ROCKFISH TACOS!! Amazing amazing food!!
We got lucky with weather and experienced a beautiful view of the mountains with lightly covered fog. The atmosphere is great, lots of fun, lots to eat in that area as well

Super yummy fish tacos!! We got the 3 taco verity. All 3 were very good! The fries were very tasty also. A great stop if you’re looking for some fish!

Fish Taco:
The fish taco was absolutely fantastic—crispy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The fish was tender and fresh, wrapped in a soft corn tortilla with just the right amount of tangy sauce and crunchy cabbage toppings. It was a perfect harmony of textures and flavors that left me wanting more.

Loaded Fish Fries:
The loaded fish fries were a true delight! Crispy fries smothered tangy sauces. The fish pieces on top were juicy and well-seasoned, adding a wonderful contrast to the crispy fries. An indulgent and satisfying dish that hits all the right notes!

Homemade Ice Cream & Waffle Cone:
To top off the meal, the homemade ice cream was creamy and rich, bursting with authentic flavor. The waffle cone was perfectly crunchy and sweet, making each bite a delightful treat. A fantastic finish that added a sweet, comforting touch to an already incredible meal

We were in Juneau for one of our cruise ports. After doing lots of research I knew I knew I wanted to stop by. We got the sampler and was super impressed by the price. All the taco's were absolutely delicious. My personal favorite was the halibut. 🤌🏻 When we went there were only two ppl upfront of us so it was not a long wait. It is a food truck with other good options around and lots of seating covered and not covered. They also had a water station so you can get water as needed.
