Can't say enough good about this restaurant. The salmon fish and chips were out of this world good. The halibut cakes were another highlight. It was amazing here. Highly recommend!

My wife and I are in Juneau every year or two and this is another of our priority stops. The food vendors have been different every time we've been there, but they are always top notch! You can't go wrong with anything on Dave's menu...it's all fantastic!

Made two stops here while in Juneau, which became my favorite visited city in Alaska. Everything we had was fresh and filled with some much flavor. The ambiance is super casual and COLD. Outdoor seating only with some heaters, so dress warm. The food is definitely worth it. The service was great, everyone was so friendly! On our trip we tried some other seafood that was also good, Tracy's , but this was certainly our favorite. Will definitely come by again next time I am in Juneau.

OMG, hands down the best fish tacos I've ever had and I live along the coast in CA where we're known for fish tacos! The 3 taco sampler is a great way to taste a bit of much of the goodness they have to offer. I couldn't decide which taco I liked best (rockfish, halibut, or salmon) and I don't particularly even like salmon. The freshness exudes from every bite. Love the permanent food truck open air dining concept where you can get liquid libations from another stand to accompany your tacos and then follow-up with a crepe for dessert. I understand the oysters are also outstanding here.

Order the three blackened rock fish tacos. Great tacos! The spicy isn't too spicy. Great selection of local beers on tap. Nice venue if you don't mind sitting outside. Sat by the fire so we stayed nice and warm. A little on the pricey side.

You will notice no low star reviews here! Why is that?! Because it is simply delicious! Love fish and chips, salmon tots? What are salmon tots you ask? It's like fried salmon in a tot, 0 potatoes lol. So good. Thanks for a great start to our Juneau

Excellent fish tacos stuffed with large pieces of fresh fish. The spicy taco sauce was more of a medium than truly spicy and the mild was very creamy. We tried salmon, halibut, rock fish and shrimp and would happily order all again. Portion sizes were perfect for lunch. Beware the tacos do not have doubled-up tortillas so they did have trouble containing the fillings and got messy but that is a good problem to have. The outdoor seating area mostly under cover is great and we found spots to sit although it was quite full with the lunch crowd when we arrived.

If you go to Juneau, this is a MUST stop! Fish is amazing - so fresh and seasoned well! Cute little "food court" atmosphere.

Definitely some of the best fish tacos in town. Pricey but worth it. Skip the rockfish, get the halibut tacos. Deckhand Dave's is a trailer, with no indoor seating. You can easily find outdoor seating at a variety of wooden tables while listening to some edgy music and taking in the Juneau scenery. My wife and I shared a taco sampler, but in retrospect, I wish I'd gotten 3 halibut tacos for myself. Lines were short. Atmosphere was perfect.

The tacos here were pretty good and it was nice to see Alaska's specialty (fish) being prepared in such a unique fashion. I've never in my life seen salmon fried tacos, nor salmon being used as fish and chips. So this place was quite unique! The Rockfish n chips were nice and crispy, along with the fries that were seasoned really nicely. The salmon tacos were also good, although the salmon taste didn't really come through as well since they were fried and the sauces covered up a lot of the natural flavor. The food came out after about 15 minutes, and we sat inside the cute quad with the other bars and restaurants around, which gave a very nice vibe, even though it was cold and drizzling out.The food was a little on the expensive side for tacos, but it is a great place to stop by for a quick snack before going out and exploring the rest of Juneau!

By far the best tacos ever! We got the sampler, and it was a great way to get a variety of flavors.
