We (a bunch of geezer college friends) enjoyed lunch here last July. Food was great and it appeared that the place was either owned or run (or perhaps both) by Native Alaskans, who were gracious hosts and who know their business. Huge portions of tasty food were gratefully received and hastily consumed. Our pretty server (I may be old and happily married, but I'm not blind) was smiling, efficient and conscientious and she made our lunch a true treat. A town as small as Juneau is lucky to have this kind of a local dining resource. A real pleasure. Thanks for helping to make our visit to Juneau so great!

A great diner. Best onion rings I’ve ever had and everything else is really good. Staff is friendly and helpful. Great diner burger. There are fancier places in town but Donna’s has character and very good food. Coffee is what you would expect from a diner and that’s just fine

I ate there about 3 months ago and was going to leave a review but forgot to until now. It was my first time in AK so obviously my first time at Donna's. I will do my best to go back there EVERY TIME I'm in AK.
The food was delicious. The service (including the kitchen) was AMAZING! I'd give it 10/5⭐ if I could. The food for my entire family (5 people) was out in 5 minutes. I was absolutely baffled. I've had to wait longer for McDonalds Drive-Thru food. And nothing was undercooked or prepared poorly.
The food was a little pricey but THAT WAS POOR PLANNING ON MY PART. NOT THEIR FAULT.
There are people that come to work just to make a check and do the bare minimum to get it. You will not find ANY of those kinds of people at Donna's. Absolutely fantastic experience all around.
Large portion sizes and friendly service. If you like diner style food check it out.
