Wow! The food quality is comparable to Mexican food in California. The wet burrito is loaded and larger than my forearm. It’s on the pricier side but it’s worth every bit. The only thing I wish they would do is get their liquor license so they could serve beer with their amazing food.

Beautiful, homey restaurant, wonderfully kind peole, and amazing food.So I'm lactose intolerant and forgot my pills and joked with one of the staff about what a bummer it was, they offered to make me a custom ordered vegan + chicken chimichanga, full of beans and spices, covered in guacamole, it was divine. Definitely found my main haunt for my time in Juneau.Just a great experience.

Stopped in Juneau while on a cruise. Lucky for us the husband of an old friend from my school years volunteered to pick us up and show us around. As he gave us the tour we all became hungry and we happened to be driving past this seemly hole in the wall type restaurant. We asked if it's any good and he recommended it so we stopped. Imagine, all the way up to Alaska to get some legit very tasty Mexican food. The enchiladas were spot on, and the beans and rice were off the charts, not to mention some super good Pozole.It's Mission district in San Francisco level food. And a family owned and run business to boot! Highly recommend!

The food was fresh and served hot. The atmosphere was that of a lunch break and the decor was very bright and sunny! However I don't have the best of impressions of the two men at the counter. One of them was the cook and the other was at the register. Both men seemed irritated with me and didn't cover it up. They were short in their answers and were really irritated that I was asking for anything. I wasn't given silverware so the cook had to bring it to me and he just threw it down on front of me. My friend wasn't treated like this. They were very kind and courteous to her. So I don't recommend eating lunch here. Especially if you are me. The food was fresh but the service made the experience very uncomfortable for me.Wheelchair accessibility: It seems like there is not wheelchair accessibility.

I moved here from Texas almost a year ago where we are surrounded by Mexican food restaurants and since we have been here I have not found one I liked until today. Excellent food, great service, and they made you feel like family. Definitely will be visiting again! ?
