Every now and then, I'll buy a coffee at the new, airport coffee shop. It's very convenient. However, there is a young lady who works there, whom I find very rude. She is curt and just, unpleasant. She is dark and very thin. She could use a lesson in customer service.

Typically get good service here. Stopped by on my lunch break and sat behind a customer for 15 minutes. 10 of those minutes were while she had a personal conversation with the barista after receiving her order. She just sat there in park and had a full conversation while others waited behind her, and the barista obliged. I know this is mostly on the customer for being so incredibly self-absorbed that she felt like parking in a drive-thru and having a private conversation was okay, but also on the barista for not moving her along. Left without ordering.

Stopped there Monday afternoon upon the recommendation of our cab driver Alan. Maddie was a pleasant young lady who handled my request for “hot and not too sweet.” It was a white mocha with toasted marshmallow. No official name but I dubbed it Snowy Alaska. A warm tasty memory of a beautiful day. Thank you!
