We stumbled on this little food trailer wanting something different. We have been in town a week and ate there 3 times. We decided to do a little Juneau pizza tour and this place is hands down the best pizza i’ve had in a long time.

Pizza was extremely lackluster. Bland, barely any topping, and pricey for the portion. Definitely not worth the trip! Only went because the wild Alaskan was closed.

Recently discovered this spot. The pizza is super yummy. Well cooked and not super saucey (which I prefer). It is a bit greasey but not too bad. The taste and cook more than make up for it. The size is of a pie is good for either a single person or to share with another. Great spot to grab a bite!

Overall, probably the best wood fired oven pizza Juneau has to offer.

We were excited to try the pizza at Forno Rosso’s food truck but came away with a lackluster experience. I had the Fireball with pepperoni, reindeer sausage, and jalapeƱos. The pizza was good, not great, with a little bite from the jalapeƱo and a nice meat contrast. The crust was super thin which I generally love, but the edges were thick and the ingredients didn’t cover enough of the dough to create the robust bite we were looking for. My partner got the pepperoni and he ate it up quickly saying that it tasted pretty good but that there weren’t enough toppings and he was still hungry after he finished. I, too, wasn’t fulfilled by the 10ā€ pie and I’m usually a two slice and out kind of pizza eater! We paid $33 for both pizzas and just didn’t think we got our money’s worth. We might have liked it better if we had a beer in the neighboring Alaska Brewery, but then, everything tastes better with a beer! The service was great and the atmosphere was fine- we ate in our truck in the parking lot! Hate to say it, but probably won’t return.

A Slice of Neapolitan Heaven on Wheels!!!I highly recommend the mouthwatering delights served up by Forno Rosso, a food truck that specializes in authentic Neapolitan-style pizza. One of the standout features of Forno Rosso is their unwavering commitment to quality ingredients. Each pizza is crafted with care, using only the finest ingredients available. The wood oven used by Forno Rosso is a game-changer. The pizzas emerge from the oven with a perfectly charred and blistered crust, creating a delightful contrast of textures. The smoky aroma that wafts from the truck is enough to make any pizza lover weak at the knees. What truly sets Forno Rosso apart is their ability to deliver exceptional pizza from a food truck. The limited space and resources of a mobile kitchen can often be a challenge, but Forno Rosso has mastered the art of creating a Neapolitan masterpiece on wheels. The efficiency and skill displayed by this husband and wife duo is truly commendable.I cannot recommend Forno Rosso enough. Whether you're a pizza aficionado or simply someone who appreciates good food, this food truck is a must-try. The combination of their commitment to quality ingredients, the magic of their wood oven, and the sheer deliciousness of their pizzas make Forno Rosso a standout in the food truck scene.

I’m being generous and giving them 3 stars. Pizza is ok. Pricing is completely unreasonable. $36 for two pizzas (one just cheese and one reindeer). Each served on a paper 10ā€ plate out of a small food truck. They are basically taking advantage of being located next to Alaska brewing company. My advice is to stick to the Devils Hideaway food truck if you are hungry. At least their food will fill you up. My 6 year old ate an entire Forno Rosso pizza by herself and was still hungry. I had to go order her some fries. Definitely not worth the price. Pizza very thin with thick crust. Not filling or satisfying.

Margherita pizza every time - I can't stop going back for more! I keep a stock of their frozen dough balls at home for when I'm desperate; still, I can't reproduce the high-heat crisp and light smokiness their wood fired oven adds to the pizza!
