They have a decent selection of local beers and mix some really good drinks.
This is all outside so you might need to bundle up a little.
The bartender was really good.
Pro tip - They have local beers. They do not have Bud, Bud Lite, Coors, or anything mass produced. Please don't ask the bartender for one of those. She has to respond to that question constantly.

This was a great bar. Our family of 16 trued to go to Red Dog Saloon which was packed, so we went to the Griz bar. The Brar Fart and the IPA was great. Awesome outside bar. Can't remember the bartender there, but it was around 4pm. He was great

Visited here for a few beers waiting for our wives. Busy street to people watch and some traffic. Tried an IPA the barkeep suggested and I like ! Literally across the street from the cruise ship docks. Didn't eat but saw some good food going by. Jne 11th 2024

I feel like every time I come back to Juneau, I find a new place I wish the city had when I was still here. This trip’s discovery was Griz Bar, which — when combined with a beautiful day — served as one of the highlights of the trip.
Probably would've given more stars on a sunny day. Bathroom is super inconvenient as well.

I think is the coziest place in Juneau. The tables with fire makes all the difference specially when is end of summer in Alaska. The drinks are very good, fair selection of cocktails and beers and just beside there is a the best taco place in Alaska with vegetarian options.
