If you aren't a drinker this place is perfect. Nice bar atmosphere. Pool in the back. Sport on the TV and the separate food business has delicious quesadillas. Got an sweet tea to go with.

Wow!What a great spot. A great pub/ sportsbar with the perfect atmosphere. Dark interior, neon lights seem to be the only light source.Pool tables and dart boards and TVs all over the place. And a bonus, this is the oldest pub in Juneau!

Great hole in the wall to watch football with a good selection of local draught beers. The bartender wasn't very friendly, but she was at least attentive.

It's a great bar in downtown with a full bar, pool tables, and ample seating at the bar or at tables. Grab quality, affordable food at the adjacent Imperial Grill.

We really enjoyed Imperial Bar. Most tourists went to the Red Dog because it seems like the place to go since I suppose it's closest to the port perhaps? But me and my wife like to dig in and go have a brew with the locals. That's what the Imperial is. A little off the beaten path but gives you a great taste of a local Alaskan bar. Red Dog might as well have been an Applebees. Great ambiance and service.

The lady attending to the bar told me they have WiFi when I asked before ordering. She confirmed as much but had to call and ask the owner for the password. Meantime, she poured out my pint of Stella Artois and paid. All the while I am left standing by the bar ... waiting. I have no idea if she called her boss. She never kept me informed. I felt I was being ignored. When after a good 15 minutes I asked if she got the p/w she yelled at me, said she WhatsApped her boss and hadn't heard back from her. Unprovoked, she suddenly took my beer away and asked me to leave. Just leave, which I did, not wanting to create a scene. As far as I know, I was not being rude to her. Just anxious. We were expecting news from our children.Definitely not a nice way to treat your customers.Not impressed.Not impressed at all.This hapoened on Monday 28 August 2023. 5 pm ish.

Downtown Juneau is small and caters to the tourists that come in primarily through the cruise ships. If you are interested in a place that is less touristy and more local feeling, the Imperial is a good choice only a couple blocks away from the more tourist draws. Is it the best place in Juneau? Probably not, but for a drink and a break in your day in a historic bar, it'll do nicely.
This billiar and bar is a local classic where you can find locals and visitors alike. The food is good and the drinks served with a good conversation.

Super delicious burger. That was perfect with perfect fries. Great service as well. Super glad we came here.! Unlike the garbage at heritage coffee which served nasty bagel with poor service!
