Jerry's is THE place to go to get your fresh meats and seafood. I was visiting Juneau and wanted to take home some fresh seafood to Arizona. The staff was very helpful with packaging my meat purchases for airline transport. The staff are friendly and helpful. The prices are reasonable.
They did a great job filleting, vacuum sealing, and freezing our fish. Jerry's does game, too. They were very communicative. If you want to keep the fish heads, cut them off before you bring your fish in. They also smoke fish. You need to give them lead time before you can pick up.
Jerry's is great. It is the goto place for smoked salmon and black cod. They also have great dips. The fresh items tend to be seasonal (obviously) but they have lots of fresh frozen items as well. They even have smoked octopus!
