Our server recommended the halibut fish and chips. It was a very small portion, rubbery, thin, overcooked, and didn't taste good. With tax, tip, and water it was $39. Pathetic. Ill never go back to this dump.

I am sad to say that this was probably the worst food experience I have ever had in Juneau. I ordered the chicken tender basket and Bavarian pretzel. Two items that are, arguably, difficult to mess up. The chicken was overcooked and the breaded portion was chewy. The BBQ sauce tasted off and my partner agreed. The pretzels weren’t very crunchy and felt like they were just microwaved. The cheese they came with was a thick, kraft Mac n’ cheese-esque concoction that did the pretzel itself no favors. My partner had the chicken piccata and his food was drowning in oily sauce. The chefs here need some serious training in good food, because the quality is just not there. The prices they charge for the food quality here is dreadful. The waitress was not very attentive to drinks and over all gave us strange vibes. We will not be coming back here.

Ordered our food for pick up, and I had asked for no onions on my giros as I don’t like the taste of red onions, and strongly dislike raw onions. Yes the wait-staff who answered the phone repeated it back to us. After paying, picking up our food, and going home, there were huge chunks and slices of red onion, and barely any tzatziki sauce. I’ve been getting the same thing from them for roughly 12 years and never had this problem. If the staff see this, please pay attention when a customer says they want something without a removable ingredient, the next person might be allergic. Thankfully I’m not. I’m just upset because this is literally the second thing I’ve had to eat all day due to being busy so my hunger level is high, thus making me hangry. We will in the future be checking our food before leaving the restaurant with pick up orders.

Definitely a must go when in Juneau.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Disappointing Service Experience
I’ve given McGivney’s Sports Bar & Grill multiple chances, but unfortunately, the service has been consistently slow. Each time I’ve visited, I’ve placed my order only to watch several other tables—who arrived after me—get served well before me. This has happened more than once, and it’s left me feeling very unwelcome. I’m not sure what the reason is, but the pattern is hard to ignore. The food is decent when it finally arrives, but the experience getting there has been frustrating and uncomfortable. I hope the staff and management take a closer look at how service is prioritized.

Personally, not a fan. We got two entres that are hard to mess up: mac n cheese and poutine. The mac n cheese was so bland. It had no melted cheese on it and just tasted of very spicy buffalo sauce that didn’t really have flavor other than spice. The noodles looked like they came out of a box. The poutine was just okay for a poutine, which was the only redeeming feature of the meal. The atmosphere was nice though! For date night, we enjoyed the booths on the side.

We were just passing through but decided to check it out. We were very happy we did! The atmosphere was friendly, safe, and fun. We only had a snack of sweet potato fries, but they were yummy! Good beer choices!

This is a true bar and grill but the service was awesome. The booths had decent seating but smaller tables. We had two adults and a child. Definitely would've been a good spot for just the adults to enjoy a sports game.

We had just arrived in Juneau and this place was recommended as close to accomodation. Very disappointing, burger was poor, chips cold. Many items not available on menu so limited choice. Won't be back

Extremely disappointed. The restaurant was nearly empty, yet we waited over two hours. Food arrived cold and overpriced. Staff were shockingly rude—our server slammed our checks on the table after a billing mistake and long delay. Completely unacceptable service. Our to-go order was $52 for RAW burgers. If this is the standard of service you offer, I can assure you I won’t be returning, and I will not hesitate to advise others to do the same.
