A party of four and we each enjoyed our meals and the duck fart shooters. The eclectic atmosphere will keep you mesmerized and guessing at everything hanging from the walls and ceiling. I loved it, definitely pop in any time I visit from Seattle.Vegetarian options: Impossible burger, past choices, pizza

I've honestly only spent a handful of times at the Red Dog -- mostly for special occasions or events. Each time has been totally pleasant and reminds me that I should visit more often. That said, during the tourism season, the saloon does turn into a tourist trap.

Before our trip I read this was a must see. It is a cool joint. Live music, sawdust floor, staff dressed up. The duckfart is good. The customer service is average. They are very slow. The food was a huge disappointment. I would not recommend eating here. Just come for a drink!

I ordered the Alaskan salmon, and it was incredibly disappointing. It was small and it was definitely came from frozen packaging. C’mon on man!!! Your establishment is literally right next to the water, and you can’t even acquire fresh salmon to serve?!!! Talk about being the king at cutting corners. The dish cost around $20 for being pathetically small. After finishing, I had to run up to McDonalds to order another meal because I was still starving after leaving the Red Dog Saloon.

The famous Red Dog Saloon is a throw-back restaurant and bar taking you to the late 1800's, complete with sawdust-covered floors, old-time piano player, wooden furniture and chandeliers. The restaurant features the pistol owned by Wyatt Earp, who accidently left it in the building after checking it in at the door. This is proudly displayed on the wall. This place can get rather crowded during peak meal-times, especially when the cruise ships come in, so there may be a wait to get a table. The food was good, but service may be slow during peak times.

BBQ pork sandwich and the pretzels with cheese sauce were delicious. Pretty empty this time of year but still great food and service. Very southern vibes.
