Before stopping in I read a review that said the corned beef hash wasn't the same as other places. The reviewer thought it lacked flavor so I knew that probably meant it was house made. Most folks are used to the canned version. Sandpiper does a really excellent hash with sizable chunks of seared corned beef, nicely crisped hash browns, peppers, scallions and grilled tomatoes. Clean and bright cafe. We waited for quite some time to be greeted by the server, to make orders and for the food to be served. A table next to us got their order taken right after seated and got their food quickly so I didn't know why it was much longer for us.
