Just enjoyed freshly made fish and chips with some awesome twisted potatoes (steak fries). Delicious. Will be back. Best in Juneau with friendly table delivery into the tasting room at Alaskan Brewing Co.

I ate at this place maybe three time a month, I normally get the large family order of halibut. Today 9/11 I stopped in by myself about 11:25 am. I sat patiently at picnic table waiting 5 minutes until they opened. The older guy working asked what he could get for me, thinking the small portion of halibut was the typical 3 pieces, I asked for the three piece halibut meal. The guy kept asking me 3 of what? I kept responding the 3 piece meal, he asks again what three do I want. It went back and forth 3 maybe for times. Thinking I better get up and look at the menu, something was wrong. As I looked at the menu I realized they serve a for piece. As I look at the menu the guy was ripping into me hurling insults and telling me he’s tired/ sick of people not know what they want and changing their minds. This guy lost all control of himself, I looked at him and said “What the flick is your problem”? He starts swearing at me saying he’s sick of people like me and told me to flicken leave he didn’t need my flicken money. We hurled the f word back and forth as I walked away. This reminded me of the Soup Nazi on Seinfeld, there wasn’t a line though. Holy smokes, really?

I went mid afternoon, greeted nicely and professionally. Order 4 piece halibut and chips. $22-23.00 it was cooked and served in 8-10 minutes. Small container of fish and chips. Halibut was disappointing. It was dark, so the oil was old or not cleaned. Tiny pieces of fish with mediocre poorly done crust. Fries were beautiful crisp and tasty. The fries were the best part of the meal. I wouldn’t recommend the Halibut at The Wild Alaskan. Sandbar on Industrial has better Halibut and Chips and they are a Bar.

Great tasting fish and chips! We went in the afternoon between the cruise crowds so there was zero wait. The fish and fries were cooked fresh and were piping hot! The chips are a bit bite sized so the 8 piece was not quite a meal to share.
Great price compared to other food trucks. The food quality is awesome. The cook was fun.For sure coming back to the wild Alaskan.
Kid-friendliness: You sit outside in a parking lot, it's outside. It's nice when the weather is good.

Incredible food, super fresh and the service was great. Them two men working the truck were so friendly. We saw them bringing in fresh fish as we were sitting there. Crab cake tacos were the best I’ve ever had ??
