We were in Juneau on a cruise and my friend searched for a place for lunch and we found the Valley. Definitely worth the drive. Nice place for lunch with large portions. The club sandwich was tasty. My friend had the teriyaki chicken.
I would consider this place a type of dive restaurant, and by no means is that a bad thing. The food was fantastic and the service was great. The server was chatting with a couple of locals, and they all had me laughing and smiling. Good people, good food. What more do you need.
We walked in for breakfast and almost left because of how packed it was, but we were quickly seated to a table with coffee, had a wonderful introduction from a lovely hostess, received our delicious food quickly and were on our way. Very enjoyable breakfast.
