Great first experience with crab at Alaska King Crab Co.! I had the Crab Combination with a king crab leg, Dungeness crab cake, and a cup of clam chowder - a bit pricey but definitely worth it. As someone who loves shrimp and lobster, I can't believe what I'd been missing. Trying crab for the first time in Alaska while on a cruise was unforgettable! The servers were friendly, and the place was clean, which added to the overall great experience. Highly recommend if you're in Alaska and want a taste of fresh, delicious crab!

It’s a nice place to grab a bite before getting back on the ship. I would recommend getting a big order of King Crab and share/sample it with the table. It may not be enough to fill you up, but you can fill up back on the ship for free anyway.
It has great views of the docks and offers time limited free wifi. Staff onsite provided speedy service and overall a good experience before returning to the ship.

I ordered a King Crab Combo, that was supposed to be coming with coleslaw, crab cake and crab bisque. Either I didn't get my coleslaw or the one in the picture is so, all in one I was greatly disappointed. They didn't have crab bisque and substituted it with clam chowder which was really good, but price wise lower... The crab cake was overcooked and with no taste of crab at all. And my greatest disappointment is the crab itself. The shell was so soft that I couldn't crack it, like rubber, the meat was very salty. I paid my bill however, never been so reluctant to do so without complaining. The two stars I have are for the service staff, they are just outstanding, the kitchen would barely get 1 star for clam chowder.

I went on an Alaskan cruise and knew that I had to have a king crab leg. Alaska King Crab Company did not disappoint! It came out in a timely manner and was absolutely delicious. Totally worth the price! Oh, and the fries were pretty great, too! ?

Do not ever come to this restaurant! They automatically charge a 20% tip, and their service is downright terrible. Let me tell you why: the server was busy chatting with someone else, completely ignoring us. So, I called over the nearest person to help, and then the server saw us talking and had the nerve to get mad at our table with the most inappropriate attitude! Excuse me, ma’am, you were too busy chatting with your coworkers and were nowhere near us. I raised my hand, and only the other guy noticed. Unbelievable!

Great food and great views. A nice place to stop for some authentic Alaska seafood or other tasty dishes. Great waitstaff and nice bar selections.

If I could zero stars, I would. This waiter was clearly racists. We sat at our table while 8 people came in after us and got served first. When he finally came to our table, he said he saw us, but didn't realize we at a table in his zone. Tables don't move by themselves. We decided not to give them our business and left. It was as if we were invisible for 10 minutes. I guess this is how AKCC treats veterans of color.
