Alaskan Oyster Shack Reviews
Best oysters I've had, plump, briney, fresh.
The oysters were absolutely delicious. The wait for them was too long. I appreciate how much care they put into preparing the oysters but I couldn’t help but compare that prep time to what I had in other parts of the world where it’s a matter of minutes to prep and serve them. I waited 20 minutes for my order. Once I got them they were worth the wait but don’t be in a hurry to get them. Sit around and enjoy the view while waiting. Their sauces are great too....read full review
Oysters were slamming. Unfortunately, all they had was farmed blue point today but they were awesome and delicious.

Located in a friendly food stand with seating outside, Alaskan Oyster Shack serves some of the best oysters in the world. The oysters are clean, fresh, tasty, and absolutely delicious, with no weird after taste—just a clean, fresh sea taste. They are super meaty and fresh, caught locally, and paired with kelp hot sauce or their local hot sauce. A half a dozen taster (3 types of local- 2 each) for 24$ is a must try for oyster lovers. Different sauces are available. The staff is incredibly kind and knowledgeable, making it a must-stop place for all cruisers coming to town. Amazing experience, and a 100% recommendation for anyone in the area.
