This black cod miso bowl is fantastic...if you're in Ketchikan find this food kiosk and get the black cod bowl.
Visiting from Texas on Princess Discovery cruise. I got the Salmon Bake sandwich and Fish Fries. The food and service were excellent. Highly recommend.

Fishes and Dishes is the best spot in Ketchikan for Alaskan seafood. The cod tacos were delicious, with flaky fish and a batter that complemented the flavor well, elevated by sauce, pineapple, and purple cabbage. The cod miso rice bowl was fantastic, and the king salmon rice bowl is THE BEST. The absolutely best salmon, with the fish swimming the day prior. Recipes are very creative, using fish from a local fish processing plant, with an elevated treatment of 100% Wild Alaska seafood, from a Thai curry inspired salmon chowder to a smoked sablefish banh mi. The fish “fries” are a crispy succulent sensation, and the cod taco rivals any fish taco on the Pacific Ocean. Super friendly staff, with prices the best anywhere in town, right by the port. A must visit.
