We came, we ate King Crab, we left happy! It’s eye wateringly expensive (at £160 for 2lbs - enough for 2) but when in Alaska…..anyway, we have absolutely no regrets. The king crab was sublime and the experience of having shellfish that is uniquely Alaskan and unlikely to be had again made the crazy price worth it! The server was very friendly and service was fast. She introduced the king crab on the menu as a “deluxe dining experience”, a euphemism for “expensive AF” to ease you into the prices on the menu! If your pockets are deep enough, this is an experience that’s worth the money. King crab tastes even better than lobster so just go for it! Restaurant was super clean and tidy and we had a fantastic experience. Highly recommended.

This place is fantastic! We sat and chatted with the owner and his wife (both so nice). Fantastic food, crap, fish. Do not overlook this amazing crap shack! Also, the best chowder I’ve ever had. Seriously..

We tried to eat inside, but the server Madison started seating us outside and the other server seated another group after us in the indoor spot. We had a service dog and she said that in Alaska, even service dogs have to eat outside. ADA and AS 18.80.230 protects individuals from discrimination. I had to push back on that and explained it was illegal. After several minutes another staff member, who agreed it was illegal, found us a spot to sit. Tiffany, our server, was friendly, but did not offer anyone refills on their drinks. Dungeness Crab was good, but Halibut & Chips were boring and greasy…don’t waste your money on them, they are overpriced for the quality.
Reading the owner’s response below, they completely ignored my review. There was no agreement to sit outside, nor did it address ADA discriminatory lies about Alaska having different rules about service animals in a restaurant.

Located right at the pier for the cruise ships, this is a must try! The food is delicious, and the server attitudes are awesome. That’s what seals the deal for me. I got to sit with Jacey, the super kind and friendly bartender, while I enjoyed a nice local IPA, dungeoness crab fries, and chunky coleslaw. Plus you can get some shopping done in the same complex! #SupportLocal

We sat at the bar w Jacey and she was friendly, efficient and full of fun local trivia. We had the fish and chips at her recommendation and she was right, incredibly fluffy and tons of fish!
We also tried the clam chowder (the personal recipe of one of the sous chefs) and it was out of this world. 10/10; a must stop when in Ketchikan!
