The Alaska Fish House Reviews
Some of the most unique and best fried fish we had in Alaska and the world! Wish the rice bowl had less rice, slightly more sauce and maybe some edamame or other veggies. If you’re into LGBTQ+ scene then the atmosphere is for you but if you have a family then environment is a little weird, they definitely look at you funny for having a child and not transitioning or being attracted to the same sex.
Food was great, service was quick but expect to pay for it, a little pricy.
Spectacular seafood place. The chowder is all kinds of amazing and the crab is delicious. The sampler fish and chips (cod, halibut, salmon) is the way to go. Be warned: Get here early because there's *always* a line. The staff does a good job with the millions of tourists, but you should expect a sizable wait.

The Alaska Fish House in Ketchikan is a popular spot for fresh and delicious seafood. The fish is fresh and tasty, especially the salmon and crab dishes. Menu items that have received praise include the Salmon Chowder, Smoked Salmon Chowder, and the Salmon and Halibut Tacos. The restaurant can be busy, especially during lunchtime, but the wait is worth it as the food is delicious and the atmosphere is pleasant. Customers appreciate the reasonable prices and the servings are on the smaller side, so guests leave satisfied but not overly full. The view of the harbor is an added bonus, and the restaurant offers a selection of beer, including options from Denali Brewing. The cozy environment with a fire provides a nice refuge from the rain.
Visitors enjoy the restaurant's quick meals near the port, with portions big enough for sharing. The fried fish sampler, featuring salmon, is a unique and tasty option. The decor, including dog portraits and interesting menus, adds to the dining experience. The halibut and salmon fish and chips are praised for their moist and juicy texture, though the fries have a peculiar flavor. The blackened halibut tacos are also a standout, with generous portions of perfectly crispy fries.
