The Alaska Fish House was a good meal with locally sourced seafood giving a full Alaska experience.The lines were long during our visit to the Ketchikan port while on a cruise but the line continuously moved so it seems the system they have works to get people through. The food itself was very good, we ordered crab and the sampler of three fish. Everything was good and hot. Convenient to cruise ship pier. Long line that moves fast with seating inside and a few tables outside. Seating inside is a bit difficult to find but high turnover keeps a few seats open. People are interested in the town and do not linger. Menus on wall behind register, walk up check prior to ordering. The combo is the best choice and was filling and well done. Beer available if desired. Overall very good experience with staff and food.

The only reason I need to go back to Ketchikan is to visit the Alaska Fish House. I love the Alaskan halibut, best in the world. The staff are enthusiastic and polite. The atmosphere is sort of like family since most times you will share a table with others enjoying their own vacation and anxious to trade stories.Do not miss it , it’s great!
