Best food in town, by far. I’ve never had a meal here that I wasn’t stoked on — and, the specials are always ??? (highly recommend snagging whatever one they have). To boot, the owners are incredible people and both the front of house and back of house are just as great.
This is a gem of a restaurant. We arrived 10 minutes before they opened in the morning so that we could get a table for four. The coffee was delicious. We all had the smoked salmon scramble, and it was delicious. The staff was incredibly hospitable.
If you want to have dinner here, you really need to call for reservations. This is a small establishment, and they often have live music in the evenings. Between the food and the music, it is top notch.

I’ve been coming to the New York Cafe for years and it is hands down my favorite restaraunt of all time. The menu has a wide range of options including many vegan and gluten free options. I’ve never been disappointed with anything I’ve received, or felt that I wasn’t being given food of high quality.
