We love eating here. Cooks are good and fast and they fry the seafood properly. Fries and ice cream sundaes, and beer is excellent. 5 stars for Henry's in Kodiak!

Potatoe Salid was great. Im really picky on others' salid, but it was by far the best I've had. The food was ok. I will say this, though.. although we were sitting by the service window, I think it's unprofessional if we can hear your whole conversations all the while cursing half of the time.

First time in Kodiak and stopped at Henry’s for dinner. The menu has quite a selection of dishes with a lot of emphasis on local seafood.

I chose the 6oz bacon wrapped filet, ordered medium rare. Now you might think this is just a bar with food but the steak came out perfectly medium rare. Easy, right? But how many times has a place messed it up? Not Henry’s.

We had been traveling all day from Seattle and had been eating and snacking along the way. As such I wasn’t super hungry and didn’t eat all of my steak (which tasted great). When I got my bill our server Rea had comped the steak thinking I didn’t like it.

I immediately asked to put it back on the bill, because there was nothing wrong with it. When my revised bill came back our server still threw a discount in, which I gave back in the tip.

So, good food and awesome service!!

Service was prompt, atmosphere was perfect for a bar meal, food very short of amazing. No seasoning on the burgers.

Come for the beer and atmosphere and you should enjoy yourself
