The Mecca Lounge Reviews
I played in a band at Solly’s Office back in “73”. I’m amazed that The Mecca is still there and I think The Village was there too. Cherry Harry as they called it was a big thing for the bars to serve. I think they made it themselves. There was a fight about every night and a lot of times it was with the American and Japanese fishermen. Kodiak ruined me for enjoying fishing in the lower 48. Does anyone remember those days in the 70’s?
Great time and service. Real food
Partied there in the mid 90’s! Best place to dance and karaoke! Lots of fights went home with glass in my clothes sometimes and my girls and I never paid for drinks couldn’t drink all the drinks sent to our table! Lots of locals and fishermen! Great place good times!

The Mecca Lounge is described as an excellent restaurant with a fun and cool atmosphere, offering delicious food such as deep-fried mushrooms, jalapeño poppers, double cheeseburgers, and fries. The bar service is commendable, with staff like Theresa keeping the beer flowing. The place is military and veteran-friendly, featuring well-maintained pool tables, music, and activities like karaoke, beer pong, and steel tip darts. Although there were some delays in food service during one visit, another customer had a quick dining experience at a nearby village. The establishment's cleanliness and friendly owner contribute to its appeal.
