“I played in a band at Solly’s Office back in “73”. I’m amazed that The Mecca is still there and I think The Village was there too. Cherry Harry as they called it was a big thing for the bars to serve. I think they made it themselves. There was a fight about every night and a lot of times it was with the American and Japanese fishermen. Kodiak ruined me for enjoying fishing in the lower 48. Does anyone remember those days in the 70’s?“

The daytime atmosphere is amazing, then the transition to an upbeat roadhouse in the evening is seamless. Even though we live in Monashka, it’s well worth the drive for great food & a great vibe.“
