Monderosa has little to offer. We k ly stop by because there's no other restaurant within 50 miles on Sunday. It's ip for sale and owner doesn't care.

Was caught up in the wildfires last season and stopped by while we waited for the road to open. Their electricity was out so their grills weren’t running, however they gave us free lemonade which was incredibly generous. These guys are fantastic people.

One of those sit down and get comfortable.Don't be in a hurry places. Just as I was getting there, she got an order for a dog.Sled team for eighteen meals.Of course, murphy's law, three other groups of customers came in.Just behind me.She was a bit frazzled, but she managed to make it work one of the best burgers i've had in a long time.It was just like a burger.We would make at home, would mom?And of course the french fries you couldn't complain.

I had a really cool experience here today. I'm in town doing tourist stuff and stopped here for lunch. There was one girl in there absolutely killing it. She was out of a few items but she managed to keep taking orders, getting drinks and preparing food for whoever came in. Also cleaning tables and dishes as she went. The place itself needs some floor repairs badly. But it's such a cool spot that seems to have a lot of history. Burgers and fries were good. I got corn dog basket also was pretty good.

I didn't expect to have the worst fish and chips of my life in Alaska but wow, it happend, the fish and chips here were absolutely awful. After we ordered we overheard the server telling a table next to us that the fish wasn't good but the burgers were, sure wish she'd bothered to tell us the same!

We grabbed lunch from here after seeing the positive ratings. I walked in and was immediately disappointed. This did not strike me as a restaurant, but rather as a bar. It was dark inside and not at all an environment I wanted to spend any time in, let alone my family. I ordered the halibut, which was average; it came with fries that were above average but not great. My wife got a burger, which was good (it also came with fries). I wouldn't eat here again just because of the environment. But if you don't mind that or can get food (particularly a burger) to go, then it's not a bad place. I'll say this - the do have a good selection of maybe 20-25 beers, which is more than I expected. Oh, and one last thing: they don't take credit cards - cash only.

We happened on this place on our way from Wasilla to Fairbanks. What a gem! I only got a salad but my husband shared a few bites of his burger and fries with me. The burger was phenomenal and everything a burger should be, just a plain old American style burger. No fancy additions, just meat, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions and pickles. And the fries……super crispy and delicious. The bartender/waitress and owner/cook were super friendly and we enjoyed talking with them. Highly recommend.

Heard about this place via word of mouth and so glad we stopped on our way from Healy to Fairbanks! Food is good, service is excellent, and we were the only ones there because of the nearby fires that would close the Parks highway just a few hours later. Thinking back maybe we should have kept driving instead of stopping for lunch but I'm honestly so glad we did because this place is great!

Stopped for lunch on our way back to Fairbanks and it was good! We split a burger with fries and onion rings. The burger was cooked perfectly and the onion rings were crispy! Everything was delicious!
