Not a horrible place would be five stars if the owner of the building wasn’t such a cheap person. You can tell the owner of this building spends absolutely no money and maintenance. The parking lot is atrocious. was just a bad accident there today from cars trying to navigate the mountain size ice hills in the parking lot that happened year after year and the owner does nothing about. If I was the owner of Burger Jim’s, I may think about withholding my next rent check until the parking lot is maneuverable for my customers.

Excellent service and pretty good food too. I wouldn't say it's the best fried rice but it's probably the best I've had in Wasilla. My gf got a chicken bacon ranch burger and fries and their fries are frickin amazing. I plan on going back and getting a burger and fries next time. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys meat.

Delicious!!! Really great burgers and fries. Unique options as well as classics like mushroom swiss. The exterior looks a bit dilapidated but the interior is great. It could be a bit warmer but all in all very happy with this place. Really excellent food.

I was desperate for food around 7pm after being with someone in the mat-su hospital.The closest options were Burger Jim or subway. So glad I picked burger Jim's!My first visit and definitely will go back! Speedy service, and the fries were outstanding and I'm picky about fries! I had a mushroom burger without a bun. The burger was yummy.Their menu has way more than burgers.

Best fried rice in the valley! Plus, they have a workforce primarily made up of teenagers/young adults with great customer service skills. They're always working hard and seem to enjoy being there! Kudos to the owners/managers. You've got a good thing going!

Ordered house fries. Received a literal handful (toddler size) of fries, with sprinkles of "everything else" that goes on it, minus the jalapeños. 14 bucks for a quarter size takeout. I paid over the phone in front of my husband so he could have an idea of when to pickup. He got there after I specifically told them the name and number of who was going to pick up. They tried their best to double charge him for something I already paid for. The only reason they didn't charge him (double) was because he was calling me. They immediately gave the food I had already purchased to him. He got home and the food is non exhisatant. Can't get ahold of anyone cause the phone is off the hook

Wow what a place to get a burger. My grandmother drove me to this place for a burger. What a kool place to eat a great cheeseburger n fries with a beautiful view of the Alaska mountains. The place servers up some great burgers and the fries are great as well.
