This bakery is not your typical bakery. It's located at the baker's home in beautiful Palmer. The bakery itself is located behind the main house with the sign, "Bakery."
The baked goods I bought were DELICIOUS! So many choices to pick from especially when you're in the bakery/kitchen where the bread, danish, cinnamon rolls, cookies, etc. are made. I love some of the baked goods at Vagabond in downtown Palmer, but I have to say if you're one like me who love baked goods without the over-sweetness aka too much sugar, then Buzz's Bakery tops Vagabond. Sorry, Vagabond! Your baked goods can be very sweet most of the time. Perhaps less sugar next time!? ?
Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Will I go back there for more? Hell yeah! ?

We are from out of town and found this place on google…
We went to his actual shop/bakery and o my goodness.
Ray( Buzz) was amazingly helpful and kind!
We got there a little after 10:00 but he didn’t mind that we came.
His prices were beyond fair and his baked goods were sooo yummie.
We got scones, different types of bread, cookies, danishes- all kinds of stuff and non of it disappointed!
Thank you Mr Buzz- we will be back when we visit Alaska

We came across this bakery for the first time at an outdoor concert venue. Pretzels were pretty good, cookies were just okay, and sadly our customer service experience with Buzz himself was disappointing. Seemed like he was more interested in speaking with his local friends than helping us pick from his unlabeled baked goods.

We are so glad we came across Buzz's Bakery while visiting. The danishes, cookies, and rolls we bought were all delicious. Definitely worth a stop.

Master of both sweet and savory baked goods. Everything we had was delicious and priced at a bargain. Cookies, pretzels, chocolate croissants, coconut macaroons, and most importantly the softest pepperoni rolls I’ve ever had. Quaint little shop that’s a bit out of the way, but well worth a stop.

I very much wanted to like this place especially after having read all the positive reviews. Fast forward -- bought a loaf of sourdough --- was hoping for a nice, crusty product but what it was -- soft white bread with barely any sourdough flavor. The cookies were good though. Would I go back? doubtful I'm sorry to say.
We thought we were lost but happy to have found Buzz's. The pepperoni bread was really fresh, would have like a little more cheese and pepperoni but the flavor was really good.
Out of the way when you live in town, but 100%worth the drive!
We were excited to stop by the bakery after first trying some chocolate chip cookies at a local farmstand. We loved them! The bakery was even better, so many options and the owner was so helpful, friendly, and kind. Can’t wait to try the breads!

Very friendly. Great selection- delicious pastries. Haven’t tried the bagels or bread, but looking forward to it!
It's really delicious food. The owner is very amazing and friendly.
Friendly service meets delicious baked goods. Absolutely love the chocolate walnut biscotti, but I haven’t disliked anything. Bagels, hamburger buns, sourdough, cibatta, pepperoni rolls, pesto bread. Definitely worth the drive!
This is by far the BEST BAKERY EVER in this area in Alaska.
