Hmmm. The room was clean, bed comfortable. Service was a phone. Got up to my room and my door was standing open. My son went in and made sure it was clear. Just kinda weird.
Rooms: Clean, large. Refrigerator, coffee maker, Direct TV.
Walkability: Close to restaurants that you can walk too.
Food and drinks: None

Large room with a comfortable bed, microwave, fridge and coffee machine, nice. Everything was very clean. I found the hotel a bit eerie though somehow, also because there is no staff at all probably, there is a phone at the reception desk you use to call and then get your room's code by text.

this place is FANTASTIC!! the room was large with a kitchenette and CLEAN!!! it's so hard to find CLEAN hotel rooms these days - this place knocked it outta the park... doesn't matter there's no one at the desk - you pick up the phone, they answer, and they take care of you! And the attached restaurant/diner is GREAT. Bars and other restaurants are within walking distance too... If I ever make it back to Alaska, I'm staying here again!!

HUGE, clean room! Manager/owner was super helpful and nice when checking us in. We were located on the third floor which required either taking an elevator to the 2nd floor & walking up a flight a stairs or taking two flights of stairs.
Rooms look new, or recently renovated.
Room is HUGE with two queen beds, refrigerator, free standing fan/cooling unit and overhead ceiling fan. These were a plus as it was rather warm/hot when we were there and lots of places do not have air/fans.
There is a restaurant attached to the hotel and several within walking distance. Palmer, the town in which it is located, is super cute with lots of dining and shopping opportunities.

Restaurantji Recommends
The meal was great. It's consistently satisfying. It was the new waitresses third day, so she made a few expected mistakes. But, overall was a enjoyable breakfast. I highly recommend the SUNRISE GRILL in the EAGLE HOTEL in Palmer, Alaska.

The room was very spacious but we had no hot water on the 3rd floor. The view from the balcony was stunning.

Extremely clean and very helpful staff. There's no one at the front desk, but you can request for someone to come and help. On-site laundry, and overall a solid option to stay at in Palmer.

This is a self service hotel, not exactly as advertised and not well established in their attempted system. The rooms smell like they've been recently remodeled, and they are clean. There's home style carpeting with stains in the halls. It smells like there's marijuana and cigarettes being smoked on site in the units, it gives the feeling that there are permanent residents here, maybe "in between housing" ... We never received a text or info regarding check in (neither did the other three confused guests in the lobby) .. and when we used the self serve phone at the desk it went to what was presumably an over seas, definitely off site service who appeared to be clueless as to helping us. They referred us to an onsite manager who appears to live in the facility, and while was helpful was less than professional. The cost is far more dollar value than what the experience warrants, and it should be advertised as the self service site it is.
Good restaurant
