The ride was not worth the food. Our meal took well over an hour to get to us. When it eventually was brought forth, it arrived cold and dry. The canned beer was enjoyable, The wait staff were very kind and apologetic.

We made a reservation per the website's instructions but arrived to find few people there as they are only open a few more days this season. Accordingly, we lucked out on heavily discounted end-of-season beer. We wanted to try something we couldn't have at home back in Kentucky so we chose caribou medallions. The server very accurately described them when we asked just to be sure we wanted to select them. Ordered medium rare, they were tender and juicy. Jusy the right portion size with delightfully seasoned fries and green beans. Unlike other reviews, we had zero complaints about the meal. The caribou was more expensive than other selections, but the menu offered a variety of selections and price points. We splurgedfl for the novelty of it. The view and interior design of the restaurant were extremely enjoyable.

Great spot to chill, plonk yourself down at the bar or any table in or outdoor and take a deep breath, enjoy the peace and tranquility!Great find!I ate the Cobb Salad too quickly and forgot a picture, but it was just what I felt like! Lots of mixture of greens, bacon, chicken and lovely dressing. The fish tacos are great too.The sparkling Viognier and the Tempranillo was great. The Caremark cake is a must tryVegetarian options: Lots of vege optionParking: Lots of parking spotsDietary restrictions: You can pretty much ask for any thing you want as long as they have the ingredients

Had a wonderful meal and experience here with my family. Some of us from Alaska and the others from Australia. The meals were all very tasty and the view spectacular. We also had some moose walking right nearby. A very special place.

6 of us enjoyed a fantastic dinner here. We had the full experience - timely but unobtrusive service, nice understated decor, welcome appetisers, delicious entrees (salmon, caribou, cod, pork), delicious desserts, great bottle of wine (suggested by our waiter), helicopter display, sunshine lighting up the mountains, moose sauntering by during dessert. Yes it was not cheap, but for this mix of visitors and overseas travellers, it was well worth the money.

Yesterday we went on the Alaska Helicopter dog sled and glacier tour at the Alaska Glacier Lodge. It was amazing! My son and I decided to stay in one of the cabins tonight and they are great as well. We decided to have dinner at the Raven’s Perch Restaurant, which we just finished eating, I had the stuffed pork loin, which had good flavor, but was dry and overcooked. My son had the fresh caught salmon which was the worst piece of salmon I’ve ever tasted. It was fishy and very overcooked and dry. The rice was dry and had no flavor, and I’m not sure what the vegetables were but it was a tiny serving of diced “whatever “. It was the only bad meal that we’ve had in our 11 days in Alaska. I would recommend taking the time to drive back to Palmer and eat at Turkey Red if you want a wonderful fresh meal! My recommendation to the owners of the restaurant is to have a simple menu with items that are consistently good and quit trying to be a fine dining restaurant until you have an actual chef who know how to prepare the meals that are being offered. High price for a terrible meal.

The helicopter tour here was absolutely incredible. We decided to eat dinner here afterward. The restaurant didn’t appear very busy but it took over an hour to get our food ?(A burger and a chicken sandwich). We enjoyed the view/sunset while discussing how amazing the tour was. The waiter was super kind and was truly apologetic for the wait. He also said he was new, and that the kitchen got backed up. They did offer us complimentary dessert for the extremely long wait, which was helpful. But if we had it to do over again, would just pack a picnic or eat in town.

Because we stayed at the lodge, we had no other option than to have dinner here. There is no other restaurant in this remote location. The tomato soup was fine. Of both entrees, one salmon and one cod half were returned to the kitchen. The fish were dry and chewy, the rice tasteless and dry, the broccoli cold. Worst food experience since we arrived in Alaska. The management waived the bill.

Best seafood chowder I had in Alaska ! Nice blend of Korean flavors with seafood as well. If you have the money for the dog sled helicopter tour, the price of the meal is probably not one of your concerns.

This restaurant is off the beaten path and outta the way. The building is nice and new. The restaurant is clean and has an amazing balcony. One side you have great views. Off to the side are a bunch of helicopter pads for the tour company that shares the building. The food is nothing crazy. I don't know if make the trek just for the food for sure. The French onion soup was okay. The bread didn't sop up the soup and it wasn't hot. The flavor was decent. The Cobb salad is fresh with lots of veggies and they will give you any choice of dressing they have on hand. The buffalo burgers were ok. Mine was a bit dry because it was over cooked even though I asked for medium rare. The side available was chips. The fish tacos were okay. It comes with three. Two were well loaded the third not so much. We ended the meal with a scoop of fireweed and honey. It was fun and unique to try. Again. Nothing crazy worth the drive.

Seafood chowder was good. Beet and arugula salad itself was fine but chicken addition very very dry and had sauce on it that didn't go at all with flavors in salad. Pushed it to side and didn't eat. Caramel dessert also good.

Live in the valley. Drove 45 minutes to get there. After seated, sat 20 minutes with servers walking by. Hostess noticed, said they would be right over. 10 minutes more and we left. Never going back and will recommend no one else bother either.
