Really disappointed that the Blue Pizza has been taken off the menu. It was one of the best pizzas in the Valley. Settled for the mashed potatoes and gravy which were pretty plain. Just an ok experience.

Still wake up at night mad I didn't call the troopers when the waitress said her son was going to shoot me if I didn't vote for Trump. It's not Trump...it's his supporters acting crazy. What a shame. Trump deserves better. Vote Trump. Stay away from this dump.

I only ate got a to go order from the cafe. I've never stayed in the hotel so I can't speak to that!

But their food is phenomenal! Great portion sizes! We got 2 small orders of chicken fried steak (1 steak each) and a 1/2 order of biscuits and gravy. They came with 2 slices of toast, 2 eggs & hash browns. The OM eggs were perfect!! And the yolks were so bright orange/yellow, looked like farm fresh eggs!! not the barely yellow eggs like you buy in the store. Muah! Chefs kiss!!

I just ate here, didn’t stay at the hotel but the restaurant is not very good. They need to hire more people to work in service. I first sat down and waited for 10 minutes and no one acknowledged me, so i moved to the bar and after waiting for another 3ish minutes someone finally brought a menu. There was only one person running around servicing everyone and she only spoke like 3 words to every table on average, she handed us the check without checking on us once, and the food (corn fritters) were not very good. I feel like this would be solved if they just scheduled/hired more people in the restaurant.

I loved the food here. The biscuits and gravy is fantastic and the pancakes are great. For lunch the hushpuppies grilled ham and cheese with twice baked potatoes absolutely fantastic.

This vintage hotel is a gem and has everything! A restaurant that’s serves great food 24/7 and a bar with delicious cocktails? Score!
True, the rooms are a bit outdated, but I find that appealing. You won’t find USB ports on the wall, environmentally questionable Keurig’s, or bourgeois toiletries with pretentious sounding fragrances. What you will find is a room that’s clean, quiet and comfortable at a FAIR price with no dubious loyalty point schemes. Oh.. and the fact that this hotel is located near two fine breweries doesn’t hurt either.
