Superb, fresh seafood that makes you feel like a true sailor on board ‍We got the Captain's platter (sockeye salmon, red snapper, jumbo shrimp) and ordered halibut on the side. Plenty of food for two people with pretty high appetites. Food came out within 15-20 minutes and our waitress at the bar was delightful.

Nice hidden gem right outside of Seward. Don't let the sign outside fool ya, they have great food!

Seafood spot with great atmosphere, right outside Seward. The fish was good, and so was the chowder. The rice looked really good. It was pretty busy around dinner time, and rightfully so.

Great spot with really good food. My only issue was that it’s fairly pricey. There just aren’t a lot of great options in Seward, so if you’re wanting decent seafood, you’ll have to bite the bullet.

The place is near the exit glacier lodge. The food is generally okay despite a bit expensive (acceptable given the overall high price in Seward area). The broiled salmon and halibut chunk are great! They also offer conplimentary corn bread.

Visiting this area of Alaska and did not have a lot of time to explore. We just knew we wanted to try some fresh, local seafood and guess we got lucky because this hit the spot. The most flavorful, bold colored salmon I've ever tasted. Really delicious with the sides. Must visit again!!

The Salmon Bake serves far more than salmon! They have all kinds of seafood, and also steaks and burgers. It feels like true home cooking. Instead of "bar seafood" that is served fried and with French fries, this is prepared a bit more healthily and served with sides like corn, baked beans, baked potato, or rice. It was refreshing after all of the fried seafood we've been eating!I loved the seafood cakes--mixture of salmon, red snapper, and crab. The salmon was the best we have had on our Alaska trip, and we enjoyed the halibut too! Service was fairly quick, and the staff was friendly. It feels like a hole-in-the-wall, but those are the best kinds of places!

Advertises "cheapest pound in town" for crab legs. 1/2lb of snow crab for $30 August 2023. Other restaurants market price was $90/lb for the same thing. Salmon chowder was also the best in town.

Good, flavorful food, more reasonably priced than other restaurants in the area. Service was good and you get free dill pickles!

Do not judge a book by its cover! The sign outside says Cheap Beer and Lousy Food and it looks a little sketchy. As soon as we walked in we were warmly greeted. The restaurant was full but we were able to order off the same menu in the bar. They were very busy. They started us off with their complementary inhouse made corn bread. It was excellent. My husband had halibut and chips and said it is the best he has ever had. I had the salmon and it was delicious. If you are looking for an informal, fun place with great food I would highly recommend the Salmon Bake.

I enjoyed my experience here. I had the halibut Sandwich with a cup of seafood chowder. I wished I would have gotten more chowder because it was the highlight. My friends had a platter with many seafood options and the salmon bake. All the food was tasty and also came with a piece of cornbread and honey butter. I’d recommend stopping by near the exit glacier park

This was a really fun dinner - it’s a run down hole in the wall that just doesn’t care and supplies some fantastic food and experience. Service is super fun, and atmosphere is great. My picky eater child ate all the fish and chips, the salmon bake is of course perfect, and their baked beans are to die for.

We had the best meal tonight. We had a salmon dinner and a Halibut dinner. They were cooked perfectly. Both were amazing. The waitress was very friendly, the beer was great.
