“Alaskans really know their ice cream. I mean, living in the frigid North, snow becomes about 95% of our daily intake—right? 🤣 But do you know gelato? 🤔 In the small town of Seward, Alaska, there's a cozy dessert shop called Sweet Darlings. It’s inside this magical spot that you’ll find some of the best gelato in the state. If you make the journey, make sure to bring your snack stomach. Now, I’m not feeding you any overhype when I say their chocolate sorbet will change you. So rich, so smooth, so creamy, so sinful. 😋 I feel like I could eat five pints of it if my body would allow. They’ve got about 20 other flavors to play with—combine multiple in a bowl or cone. Be your own Gelato Wizard. 🧙♂️🪄 Gelato aside, they also have a huge assortment of bonbons to buy. 😀 I’d be lying if I said it’s not almost impossible to spend less than $20 here at a time. Prices are decent, the customer service is amazing, and all the goods are made in-house. This place is a must-stop for me when I’m in Seward, and I hope it becomes the same for you. So get in your car and go make some cavities! 🤣🤣 Open 11–9 Monday through Saturday, 11–8 on Sundays. 205 4th Ave, directly across from The Flamingo in downtown. Food on, my foodies.“

“Easy walk in the main area of town in Seward where cruise ships come in and day tours for various things go out.
We didn't enjoy as much as Sweet Darlings but this place served a butterscotch latte, called a Butter Baby, so that scored some points with my wife.
We tried the following flavors and they were all great: huckleberry, mountain blackberrry and bubblegum.
Good service, can't go wrong getting ice cream here.“
