Wonderful restaurant with some outstanding service. They had a decent non-alcoholic menu, and a truly extensive beer and wine list. The crab cakes were spectacular (and gluten free!), and I don't think I've ever had such fresh, crispy (yet still oh-so-soft) halibut. Truly delightful.

Food was not good. Not at all fresh or local. Cafeteria food for cruise ship passengers who have no other option. Service was good, and food came out quickly, but quality was terrible. Far better options out there. And the “remote destination fee” is an insult when the food is mostly frozen / Sysco

Overall, this is a great restaurant, but it’s a bit pricey. We had to wait 40 min for a table of 6 and then 64 min to get our food. I wasn’t impressed by that but the food was really good.

We ate here 3 times while staying at the Windsong Lodge. Our first two experiences, a very early breakfast and a very late dinner were actually pretty nice, but we figured out that was because we were there on a Monday and during off hours.

We had our final meal during peak breakfast hours on Tuesday. My mother’s order was messed up and my brother was given one Smuckers jam tab for his toast instead of the local rhubarb jam advertised on the menu. At least drop the price if you’re serving Smuckers, my god. If you’re coming during normal meal hours or a weekend this is more likely to be your experience.

Our server, Jess, was great! She explained entrees well and was very delightful! We loved the Panko Salmon. Our dessert was fantastic - chocolate flourless cake, homemade whipped cream, and Carmel coated popcorn. It was unique and delicious! Thanks😀

Great food, small drinks, better prices than most in Seward.

Delightful! Our service was top notch, and the mountain view was amazing. My dinner arrived as specified and was delicious. For dessert, we had the BEST blueberry crisp ever!

Avoid eating here. Took over an hour for a pizza. Manager was useless. Table of women extremely loud that No one else could enjoy their meal let alone talk to the person beside them.

Super nice location right across from the mountains
Great food and super friendly staff
But it would be nice to see a larger selection of vegetarian choices

We waited over an hour for our food just to have half of us get food, and most of it was all messed up and not what we ordered. After the rest of the food finally came, (fried chicken) the batter was raw!!!! It was barely even fried. We actually finished eating before the rest of the food even came!!!! The service was also bad. Our server came once to refill a water and we did not see her again. You barely get any food at all for how much you pay. I don’t recommend coming here unless this place gets their shit together!

Was excited to try this amazing looking place with a beautiful view. We waited an hour and 20 min for our food. Only part of the food arrived for our party. The rest arrived about 15 min later. The food that arrived late was not cooked completely. The salad was not correct for 1 order. Waitress apologized. However we asked for the errors and mistakes to be removed from the bill. Not the experience we had hoped for the price! Hopefully it was just a bad night in the kitchen!

Waited and waited. Watched at least two tables return food because it was cold. 90 minutes after sitting down and no food, a manager came by and offered condolences for the wait. He did not have an eta for our meals. My wife and two kids basically wanted to go to bed at this point (9pm) and I offered to pay for the soft drinks we’d had and just asked for the check. To his credit, he comped us the sodas, but this was a lousy experience. Read reviews afterwards and they all seem appropriate. I’d say skip it, but many who come by here are captive audiences. Good luck.
