Burger was good, iceberg/spinach salad with rockfish had perfectly cooked fish but no spinach. So, kitchen can cook well and in a timely fashion, but runs out of items (yeah, it’s Alaska). Problem lies in hit-or-miss service. Tables were about half occupied. The couple next to us sat down 10 minutes after we did, yet had finished their dinner before we even got food. Plus, their server checked with them multiple times while we had to beg our server to even talk with us after...
Our family of 6 enjoyed a wonderful lunch here. We had about a 15 minute wait time for a table, as they were super busy when we visited. The food was so very good and flavorful. The Mexican phillysteak and reuben were our favorites.
We had a nice meal at the Bayview while on shore from our cruise. The place was packed but the staff found room for us and were right on top of things with the service. Nice local place to enjoy a pint and meal.
